The International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKSOS) published their approved courses for 2014. On July, 17-19 Colorado knee specialist Robert F. LaPrade MD, PhD will be serving as chair of the Vail International Complex Knee Symposium (VICKS) in Vail, Colorado. As a partner at The Steadman Clinic and the Chief Medical Officer at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute, Dr. LaPrade is one of the leading researchers on injuries and treatments related to the knee.
The VICKS course will bring together some of the world’s top surgeons for complex knee surgery for the first time in a course devoted to instructing the “best of the best” about anatomic complex knee reconstructions. It will educate surgeons from all over the world on cutting-edge complex knee surgical techniques to advance patient care internationally.
The Vail International Complex Knee Symposium (VICKS) is sponsored by Smith and Nephew. Registrants must perform PCL reconstructions, collateral knee surgery and ACL revision surgery. Potential course attendees must contact their local Smith and Nephew representatives.
