Professional Stress X-Ray Guide
This guide demonstrates the interpretation of the amount of side-to-side differences in stress radiographs to determine a complete or a partial medial knee, lateral knee and PCL tear.
This guide is useful to post in one’s clinic to assist with the interpretation of stress radiographs. Stress radiographs should be obtained in all patients where there is a concern for a complete knee ligament injury.
These guidelines have been developed and validated in our research lab and published in the peer reviewed literature.
