The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) recently honored Dr. Robert F. LaPrade of the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado with the 2012 Achievement Award. This award was given to Dr. LaPrade during the AAOS Annual Meeting that took place in San Francisco February 7-11 at the Moscone Center. During the meeting, new topics surrounding the finest in orthopaedic surgery, education and the latest research were highlighted.

The 2012 Achievement Award is given to select surgeons that highlights their exceptional contribution to the field of orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. LaPrade played an important role during the meetings and delivered a symposium on knee ligament reconstruction highlighting the Anatomic Posterolateral Corner Reconstruction procedure.
